Anyway, so that previous question wasn't really question but yeah. So, I'm a Wattpad author and I really really love writing but I was wondering if you had any tips that would make writing a real book easier. I've wanted to start one for ages but I always seem to get to the action too quickly. Is there a way around that or...? Thank you for writing amazing books! I really love them! They are one of my faves! xx ~ TJ

I think getting to the action quickly sounds great! You can build character, dripfeed backstory and create the world of the story as you go. I think bringing the reader into an active scene straight away can be a good way of capturing interest and the need to turn pages. I have shared a little bit about my writing process here:

GOD! WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY BOOKS TO READ? I go Spark and Stray for Christmas but I have so many other books and I just want to read them but I have to finish the series I'm on right now. I read Spark after it came out and I had been waiting for Stray for ages and now that I have it I know it's going to be just as amazing! I love you work! Thanks for writing such amazing books!

Hi Rachael, i absolutely love your book 'Spark'! I've grown up with my friends always paying out on me for how much i read, so it is always good to find a book (Spark for example) where i feel connected to people (author and characters) that seemed to understand, accept and make me feel apart of something. So I was wondering if you would be considering coming to Sydney to do a book sign?! Kind Regards, Claudia xx

Hi I'm one of your Christchurch-based fans, and your books are amazing - thank you for bringing them into the world. All of your books are actually brilliant, and I've read all of them. My question is for your book The Rift. Is there ever going to be a sequel of any kind? It's left very open, with so many possibilities for a sequel! I simply cannot believe that is going to be a standalone book. Thanks :)
