Dear Megan: Thanks for your lovely message. I am so pleased to hear that you love the Spark trilogy. It's been an amazing journey seeing these stories go out into the world and have people respond to them. Shield is scheduled for release in September this year! Eep! It will come around sooner than you expect. Also there will be another accompanying short story released with it. So keep an eye out. I actually forgot that your new book has come out, and when I did just remember I nearly fell out of my chair!!!!! It's the 12th of september here and I am so EXCITED TO READ YOUR THIRD BOOK!!! I think I might cry! Anyways, back to the question! How old were you when you first started writing your very first book???

Hi I'm one of your Christchurch-based fans, and your books are amazing - thank you for bringing them into the world. All of your books are actually brilliant, and I've read all of them. My question is for your book The Rift. Is there ever going to be a sequel of any kind? It's left very open, with so many possibilities for a sequel! I simply cannot believe that is going to be a standalone book. Thanks :)
