Goodreads asked Osama A. Hashmi:

How do you get inspired to write?

Osama A. Hashmi I think of writing a book just the same as creating a product: It's the process of overcoming the inertia to change. I actually faced a lot of inertia writing this book, as I'm sure a lot of other writers can relate.

Overcoming inertia to change for me comes from knowing that it's possible to solve some of the big problems in the world by inspiring possibility in the minds of others. That's something I've always loved to do, and I know is possible through the power of writing.

As long as there's a wrong to right, a problem to solve, and a perspective I can offer to help with that situation, I find myself motivated to share it.
