How do you get inspired to write?

C.T. Phipps I tend to immerse myself in whatever genre I'm going to be writing in. When writing science fiction, I'm going to watch things like Killjoys and the Expanse. When I write fantasy, I re-watch the Lord of the Rings and re-read my favorite works in the genre.

2 questions. When Cindy was listing villains in book 2, she mentions MechaniCal. Was that a nod to Jim Bernheimer? Also, is book 4 of Supervillainy saga in the process? I just read all three books, so I wasn't sure.
