Why change the beginning of The Concrete Blonde for TV? Bosch following a hooker who had almost been killed back to the garage apartment of a serial killer and going in alone because he thinks there might be another woman in there being killed, and then shooting the guy when he reaches for his wig? That's engaging and extraordinary.

I love your writing but would hate to not see anymore Bosch novels. I love this character as if he were a lifelong friend ( which he has been!) I look forward to your books - waiting so long to see a new one is hard , but well worth the wait. When can we expect a new Connelly to appear next?
