You really can't sustain a relationship unless you know and understand each other (trust me, married for 18 years and together for 20) and can also accept each others' differences and grow together. Otherwise, I promise, it won't work, however many burning kisses and half-lidded eyes there may be at the beginning! Some romance suits the silly fairy tale and that's fine, but I like that this author is going deeper and darker in her books & characters and hope she keeps it up to a logical conclusion. ie Cal & Mare together, but totally understanding each other.(less)
