Hello, I have kind of a silly question. So, my fiancee and I are planning our wedding, and we have decided to do a "Barrayar" wedding. =) So what we are wondering is could you maybe give us a hint or a more detailed description of the fashion, as you envisioned it? I see it more Austro-Hungarian courtly, and Lucija more Victorian England. All with strong military influence off course. We were just wondering. =) TY

This is the sort of detail I leave up to the readers' imaginations, although my own description of Barrayaran traditional fashions runs to "Ruritanian". As The Prisoner of Zenda was set in a fictional middle European country and written by an Englishman, both of your ideas for sources have merit.
Or I suppose, you could go in Betan sarongs... :-) Your climate may not permit.

I own most of your books in ebook and eaudio format but get most of the rest of my e-reading/listening from the library. Did you know publishers charge libraries crazy amounts for their ebooks? The example of a current popular book my library gave was $55 for a $15 ebook and $95 for a $40 audio. Then they have to rebuy in either 2 years or a certain number of checkouts. I realize publishers are in it for money but..
