Jennifer is referring to the French television series, Les Revenants, which is what the American series is loosely based on...or so I thought. Now I am confused!

If you mean the true story of Hugh Glass (which was made into the DiCaprio movie), I don't see any connection with a fictional 7-year-old boy returning from the dead to his parents in modern-day North Carolina.
