Blut_Binden asked Joseph Delaney:

Hello! My question is a quick one. How do you get yourself out of "writer's block?" I've been stuck on my own draft for about a year even though I constantly have new ideas for it. It's difficult to translate thoughts to written words when before it was quite easy. I admire how your work flows so smoothly not just within each novel, but from book to book.

Joseph Delaney I don't get writer's block very often these days but some days I certainly write more than others. When I get stuck I go for a walk. Sometimes I use spider diagrams. Each leg represents a possible plot direction so I use the best leg I can find! Remember I have a team of people working on my books. Before publication they go through several drafts and editing before the final version. The first draft I submit to my editor is far from smooth.
