Alice had already gone when Tom arrived. But his meeting with her was useful later. Tom did help Grimalkin fight the evil god in the cage and made it possible to destroy him. So had he been elsewhere he would have been missed! Alice also needed Tom’s sword! Sorry but I do think it is over for Jenny.

I know there are no plans for a future Tom Ward perspective book. Have you thought about doing a book of short stores containing stories that take place while Wulf is studying in the underworld? Maybe Tom and Alice are teaching young Tilda about what it means to be a spook and a witch. Also it could explain a bit more why Tilda wants to recue her parents so badly.
