Goodreads asked Victor Ghoshe:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Victor Ghoshe I do believe and I have always believed, writers are performers. But unlike musicians and actors they perform alone in their dark studies, sharing the space with piles of books and mostly in their pajamas.

Now the tough part is – writing is also a matter of taste….like a painter musician or a composer we create something we like…..
like a painter paints to his/her taste (well, if s/he is not working on a commissioned work), we write to our tastes… and then we hope some other people will share our tastes.
Some of us find those kind of people and some do not…

Fortunately I have found there is a lot more history buffs like me who share my taste than what I used to think of.
I try to write stories that I want to read…which has a lot of information and written in a modern and simple narrative style. That's the best part of it.......!!!
