What is your motivation to write books? Is it worth the investment in time, money and resilience? How do you go about publishing? I have a memoir of buying and renovating in France as the beginning of my life in retirement. It has sent me on an interesting journey of language learning, vocabulary for French DIY and the life of a 1640's village in the Loire. Also dealing with another renovation at home!

L.M. Krier Hi again. I have always written. I love to write. It's more a compulsion than a motivation. Is it worth it? It depends on what you want to get out of it. It's very seldom a way to make a lot of money. I am an Indie, self-published, which is great fun to do and it gives me total control, unlike being tied in to a publishing contract.
