John, Do you remember the series, The Malazan Book of the Fallen? Think there were like 10 books by Steven Erickson? While waiting on Wrath I wondered if you knew of a similar series such as Ericksons? Loved those books. Im reading The Red Knight atm, but if I like a book (like your series), Ill burn through them fasssstttt. Need something to tide me till Wrath. Please keep them coming!!! Thanks

Hi Burpetheworm,
Great to hear from you again.
I do remember the Malazan series - truly epic in scope. I can recommend a few titles to keep you busy. I would have recommended the Red Knight but you're already reading that! The author Miles Cameron also writes awesome historical fiction under the name Christian Cameron. A cracking series on the Greek/Persian Wars, book 1 'Killer of Men.' Also a medieval series on the 100 Years War, book 1 'the Ill-Made Knight.'
Bernard Cornwell's Arthur series, book 1 'The Winter King.' This is one of my all time favourite reads.
Anything by Joe Abercrombie.
Anything by Mark Lawrence.
Sebastien de Castell's 'Greatcoats' series.
Adrian Tchaikovsky's 'Shadows of the Apt' series - 10 books in this series, so maybe something to rival Malazan?
Hope that helps.
Best,
John

Hey John, I was just wondering if you had considered starting a monthly newsletter or anything? Was just wondering because one of my other favourite authors, Sarah J. Maas, started doing one a few months ago and I found it was a really great way of staying up to date with her appearances/book signings - even if 90% of the time I can't get to them D: If you do have one already though, where can I sign up for it!?
