Taylor Sorenson
Taylor Sorenson asked Eloisa James:

Hi, Eloisa! I have read two of your series thus far (Fairy Tales and Desperate Duchesses--and My American Duchess), and while both are phenomenal, they are very different in terms of both style and substance. Is this more of an intentional shift, or merely a product of playing with different plots and characters? If intentional, which style is your favorite?

Eloisa James It's intentional. I think that a fairy tale (rewritten) needs to have a very different tone than a novel set in the Georgian period (high drama & very witty, snarky people). You'll probably find all my series different -- I am no good at writing the same thing again and again. It's one of the reasons why I'm slower than some; if I find myself getting in a rut, I delete and start over.
