As you work through a series, how do you track relationships and past events? Do you go back and reread books to keep future books consistent? Or keep a spreadsheet? A chance stop in a little used bookstore in a small town got me hooked on GH and from there the Psy-Changeling series!

I do multiple things:
- I reread my books regularly. Sometimes, I don't read the entire book but particular sections. For example, before I wrote KISS OF SNOW, I reread every single bit that featured or mentioned Hawke and/or Sienna.
- I keep detailed notes on all the characters, every tiny thing about them.
- I have maps of all the territories, with locations marked out.
- I have electronic files of my books that I can search easily, because quite often, I know exactly what I'm looking for. I just need to find it.
- I also have beta readers who are fans of the series and they read my final books and double check that I haven't made an error. :)

It may seem like a stupid question. but what the hell! All your book covers, I think the UK editions, where you only see the guys face. All the men have scratches on their face, when according to your books it only Lucas as has claw marks on his face. Is it deliberate or just happened?

Hi, I am a big fan, I have like read and reread your books, they are superb. You have a strong flowing type of writing, which gets the reader involved, I love your style and imagination. Just wanted to get that out the way, because I think you are a great Author. My question is how did you get into writing, what was the "thing" that got you going?
