You'd have to ask my wife... (I HOPE she's the right person to ask...). Probably the most dramatic thing was getting Peter Sarstedt to record a special version of "Where do You Go to My Lovely", his 1969 no 1 hit for her birthday - it was a favorite song of hers. But I have to thank him for being equally romantic in agreeing to do it. I heard recently that he's very ill: I'd hoped to send him a copy of the Rosie books as a real thank you.

I was shocked when I read some of the reviews that said you were making light of serious conditions such as Asperger's or Autism Spectrum. Because I did not equate Don's condition with any specifically identifiable condition but more or less like any guy bumbling through life and love doing the best with what they have to work with. Did the book ever say what it was?
