Eloisa, I adore Merry. A bit of a "misfit" but so happy she is able to stand up for who she is. Did you know you were going to throw in a "wrench" for her HEA? And her love or gardens, what made you consider that beautiful part of who Merry is? I loved the intimacy in the "greenhouse" scenes... beautifully done!

Hi Hope! (nice to see you!) I picked up a coffee table book in England last year that detailed all of the amazing gardening design done by women in the 1800s. I'm always looking for the ways by which women experienced life not as a constant series of balls, but as a way to engage and create. Obviously, they didn't have the same choices as did gentlemen, but historically, it's very clear that they found ways to be working members of society! And as for the wrench... I always throw a wrench! :)

Hi Eloisa! I just finished Wilde Child and I loved it. The characters were amazing. But I was wondering about something, Horatius is mentioned in every book. He is present in all those stories. Is there a chance (and I know i am reaching here) that he is the man that is traveling with the theater? Could Caballero actually be Horatius? Or am I just crazy 😜? Regardless I love your books, so thank you!
