Hi. I love your Psy/Changling series and I've heard rumour that, at some point in the future, you might be writing a YA series with the younger characters. Is this true?

Nalini Singh No. :) I intend to continue to write about the younger characters within the larger storyline. So, for example, you see a bit of Jonquil (Jon) in ALLEGIANCE OF HONOR, see how he's growing and changing. I don't like to think of separating out the younger adults from the main cast, because I feel like they're so interconnected and all their stories intertwine and they all impact each other.

However, I may do short stories featuring the younger characters, to explore things close to their heart. I recently did a Guild Hunter short story featuring a young teenage girl named Talu. It's called "A Small Fairytale" and if you missed it, just subscribe to my newsletter and the Welcome newsletter has links to all the previous short stories).

So I like doing things like that, where we zoom in on a moment or a short period of time where we can be in the younger character's point of view. But when it comes to full length books, I want the entire cast there. They're a family, whether by blood or choice, and I want to honor those bonds.
