Hello, Shannon! I'm wondering....it's clear in the Keeper of The Lost Cities series that elves (beside Sophie, of course) have blue eyes. However, is it just me, or do Fitz's eyes seem more like a piercing emerald green on the cover of Everblaze? It may be because of the light in the background, or maybe elves have different shades of blue...maybe Fitz's is more of a turquoise? Just being curious. xD

Wow, this is my second "Fitz's eye color question" in a row. Funny coincidence!.
For one thing, my covers are always up to the artist's interpretation. I give notes, but that doesn't mean he doesn't also get to make some of his own decisions. There's also the fact that digital colors look differently on different computer monitors. Just like different printers can vary in their colors when they print the physical books. So that may also explain the difference.
For me, when I say Teal, I'm picturing more of a Tiffany-box teal. Or sea glass (which is how I described it in the book).
