Also in TDD, you wrote on one page that Noah inherited the duchy from his grandfather, on another page from his uncle, and on yet another page from his father. Just what was the exact birth order of his father and uncles, and the exact ducal succession?

Grace Burrowes I'll have to look at that, because in the general sense, Noah did inherit from them all. First Grandpa died, then older uncle, then Noah's own father, as if the dukedom were bearing down on him like an advancing army. When I have a chance to re-read the book, I'll pay special attention to these mentions. Eventually, my rights will revert, and I can tidy up what's not clear.

Grace - did the typesetters mess up a Duke of My Dreams? In my copy, pg 137 2nd paragraph goes from " I am ready to strangle my grandmother down to "Don't scream" On page 138 4th paragraph starts out "I am ready......etc" and ends on page 139" 1st paragraph with "Don't scream" even though there is more wording in between. I re-read both sections 4 times and it isn't making sense to me. It may just be me...lol

I also wonder if Gareth's story was the only one in the men's stories (Lonely Lords, True Gentlemen and Jaded Gentlemen combined) that occurred during the Napoleonic Wars, considering that several years passed before Andrew's story began. Why couldn't you have kept all their stories within the Lonely Lords series? Surely the men in the smaller series were all lonely as well.
