I devored You in about a day! Loved it.... thank you something in me while reading totally sees Joe, himself as a writer. Any plans for him to start writing more with in the book well other then emails and tweets? Thank you again for the great read!

Kathleen, it is so interesting you say that! In HIDDEN BODIES he does begin to write. So you totally felt that coming, which makes me feel so good! When I've worked in bookstores and libraries, being around all these books, picking them up, reading a page here and there, thinking, it made me want to write. It's like, you want to make a contribution of your own. I see Joe as someone who is sort of blocked in YOU and then he's starting to write in HIDDEN BODIES. Which is good, but oh, it's never that simple, is it? I'm excited for you to see what happens next. Since you already sensed it coming!

Caroline Kepnes:
Thank you for these books! I found that I was unfortunately recognizing some of the characters. Identifying with that kept me feeling almost personally invested in the story line, rooting for some, despising others. Then, I saw that you were born in Hyannis, and so was I. That was when everything clicked as to why these characters resonated. Did experiences on the Cape influence your writing in any way?

Hi Caroline! I absolutely loved "YOU". Joe is such a complicated character - I wanted to be appalled at his murderous actions but I couldn't help but think, man, "suchandsuchcharacter kind of deserved it". Is that terrible of me? Anyway, my question is whether the "YOU" books are a trilogy or just the two. I can't wait for "Hidden Bodies"!

Reading "YOU" over December with students in my class turned me into a huge fan. I enjoy psychological thrillers that really stay with "YOU". I heard a rumor that Showtime bought the rights to turn your book into a cable network show. Can you elaborate yet if this is true, or is Reese Whiterspoon grabbing the film rights already? Thank "YOU"
