Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

C.C. Standish The Customer Is Always Wrong stems from my experience as a teenager working those horrible, minimum wage, bottom of the barrel jobs. The funny thing is, after you've worked in fast food or retail and get a decent paying job, you realize the more you make, the less backbreaking the job tends to be! But those shitty service industry jobs build a lot of character and expose you to the dark side of our society; the power hungry manager, the overly dramatic customer who just won't let something go until they get their way. It's the first taste a lot of us have of this dog-eat-dog world.
