when you write your stories, do you use a plot chart, or do you wing it? And How do you decide where to END?

I have no idea what a plot chart is Victoria, but I am sure I don't use it:) It sounds quite dreadful I admit! I prepare a book for a few months by filling A4 notebooks with notes, questions, story and character ideas, possible motives, locations, images, photos, scribbles to then one day start writing - by hand. I mostly know where to go for about for to five chapters, sometimes a few more. But mostly the story decides to take a different path after a few pages anyway! As to when it ends...in my experience stories are mostly quite clear on that. You just listen:)

Hi, Cornelia! I was just reading InkSpell when this question popped up in my head. I'm actually puzzled about the wonderful quotes at the beginning of every chapter- do you personally choose them, or actually, I don't know, highlight some quotes while reading some other books or are they suggested to you? This is kind of a silly question but I just can't get it out of my mind. Thanks! :)

Very excited for A Griffin's Feather! I read Dragonrider to my son when he was young. ..we loved it so much, we pursued you other books (the Inkheart trilogy). So thrilled there's so much more to look forward to. My son is an adult now, but I can guarantee he will want A Griffin's Feather! Will you be traveling to the US to do any signings when it releases here in 2016/17?
