If you could make a movie or tv series would it be one like "Penny Dreadful" , more like "Game of Thrones" or comical?

That's a tough one. I love both shows. But I've never been a big fantasy fan. In fact, I didn't watch the first season of GAME OF THRONES for that reason. Legions of friends had to flip out over it before I'd even take a look, and then I was forced to play catch-up. And then I was hooked. But PENNY DREADFUL has a dark romanticism to it that hooked me from the very first episode. Overall, it's much more in keeping with the shows and novels I consume regularly.

I'm currently reading Light Before Day, and I can't but wonder where you got your material and how you went about doing your research for this book... as it's pretty spot on.... almost as if you as a writer had experienced a lot of it first hand... If you don't want to answer this in a public forum, I completely understand, but still wouldn't mind a private one... as I'm sure you know how to find me. :)
