Just stop. Writer's block is my characters way of telling me that they need a rest from telling me their story. When they are ready to speak again, the block is removed. I will not write without my characters voice. To me, the characters are blocking my thoughts, if I continue to write without their voices, I am not writing their stories, I am writing my own thoughts.
