Hey Shannon, first off I want to say that I love Keeper and will be including it in my Bat Mitzvah. Second, as a writer myself I wanted to ask you if you ever had a hard time with a character because you were making them too much like yourself? If so, what character?

Yay for including KEEPER in your Bat Mitzvah! And honestly, I don't really see any of my characters as being "like me." I'm sure they have bits and pieces of me in small ways. But I'm so deeply familiar with their backstories and all the various things in their past that affect who they are that those are the only things I think about when I'm writing their scenes, and that's what shapes the characters on the page.
