Yes, I got Day Shift . Will be looking forward to Night Shift. Since day one of reading the " Dead In Dixie" Vampire book I have wondered where did your vampire 's come from ? You literally recreated everything that anyone thought or wrote about Vampires and so many others have used your vision .

I have to tell you that Laurell K. Hamilton's books sparked my imagination. She was doing something so different from anything I'd ever read. Writers are always thinking, "What if?" I thought, "If vampires were in society now, what would the world be like? How would people react? What would be the attitude of the humans they dealt with?" And gradually my own world began to evolve.

Thanks so much for sharing your stories. I have yet to find a Charlaine Harris book I haven't loved. I reread your True Blood series about once a year and just finished rereading the Grave series. Are there any books you reread?

I am a huge fan of your work. I have read all the Southern Vampire Mysteries and just listened to Midnight Crossroad and Dayshift on audiobook. I can honestly say I like those two books just as much as I like Sookie's series. I am so impressed with how you keep track of the characters in your universe and their individual timelines. I know you have the entire universe in your head but how do you keep track so well?
