I've never read this book but it sounds interesting. the only thing is it sounds a lot like a book series I've read called "beautiful Creatures" and i mean A LOT alike. if any of you have read the books, what do u think and is it a book worth reading?

Meg Seitz This book came out WAYYYY before Beautiful Creatures and it's also far far better. They go back in time at one point to change a curse put on Jarrod's family. I'd definitely recommend this much more than Beautiful Creatures for sure.
Xyra I LOVED the Caster Chornicles. They have nothing in common - nothing - well, except being in the same genre and a female character who is a witch. Other than that, completely different.

Both are good reads; very enjoyable. Personally, I think the Caster Chronicles had greater depth of development in character and situations (especially with the Dante connection at the end).
Christina I've read Old Magic 3 times and I love it, I've read Beautiful Creatures once, it was meh and I didn't even finish the series. So yeah, go ahead and read Old Magic, it's a stand-alone and it's great!
