Goodreads asked Lindsey Elyse:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lindsey Elyse Let's see, my recent book, since it's becoming a series, I'll go with "Ghost" for this question. I honestly wasn't planning on writing it. A couple years ago, I did a short story challenge. One story a day for a week. "Ghost" was the last story I came up with and I couldn't get my hitman out of my head. Ghost's story grew and grew until I couldn't take it and grabbed a pen. I came up with Ghost because I didn't want a story from the girl's point of view since I've read so many storys through her eyes. I sat there and thought "What would he be thinking and how would he react when she did this, or that?" Blame my interest in psychology, but it was interesting trying to see how someone who has built a wall around himself, refusing to make connections or think twice about another person, slowly open up and realize that life wasn't all bad. Trust me, Ghost was quite the mental exercise.
