asked:
A book of stories based on the LOVE TRIANGLE? Why do this when it's already killing YA right now? And how did Garth Nix get dragged into this? For the record, you can do a well-done love triangle- look at The Hunger Games or the Tortall series, for instance. But Suzanne Collins and Tamora Pierce made them minor aspects of a much greater story. Most of the time, you end up with crap like Twilight.

I think the book was written for those of us who don't think love triangles are killing YA. :-) Just because some people dislike them doesn't mean everyone does. Some, like me, purposely seek out books that have them.

You could try reading the anthology before assuming that it sucks.

First off, I don't think the love triangle in The Hunger Games was all that great. Second, I loathe the love triangle in any genre/reader level, but I gave it a shot anyway expecting to hate it. The book is a pleasant surprise and most of the stories are really enjoyable. Maybe not shit on a book before you read it next time, huh?

Love triangles happen in real life, so why shouldn't authors write about them? Not everyone dislikes them.

I love a love triangle but dislike YA so this will give me the opportunity to see if this venture will actually work and appeal to my reading matter. Sierra Simone has written a fantastic love triangle - you should try it BUT it is very adult!
