Hi Ms. Harris. I always wondered what exactly led you to write the Sookie Stackhouse series? I loved them all and always (not so) secretly wished that Sookie and Bill would end up together. I love all your books, but Sookie will always hole a special place in my heart.

Charlaine Harris I wanted to write something unlike anything I'd ever written, because I needed to shake up my career. I began to think about a woman who was trying to date a vampire, and what problems that would cause, and everything arose from that. I am proud of all the Sookie novels, and they were fun to write.

Not so much a questions as a congrats that Midnight, TX is a new series for NBC. Now if the powers that be would just announce the premiere date. I've watched the trailer. No chance they've told you the date? LOL
