I've got several questions, but I'll start with this one: How involved was Allison from the very, very beginning? I'm supposed to believe she was somehow brought in mid-stream, as was theorized. However, as we learn of the ever increasing breadth of Conchis' power as the story progresses, how do we know exactly when Allison became part of the whole Godgame?

It could even be theorized that he was being set up as their test subject right from the beginning. It seems to me though that if Alison's place in Nicholas's life is completely a construct of the masque, the ending is less significant. I mean she would be like Lily then wouldn't she? (less)
