Simon Ellberger
Simon Ellberger asked Mark Lawrence:

You have used the word "frostral" a few times in your work (e.g., in "Prince of Fools" and "Gunlaw"). I can't find the word anywhere in any dictionary or through an online search. What does it mean? Is it from some language other than English? Do you recall your source for it? As both a lover of words and of Mark Lawrence prose, I am intensely curious about it.

Mark Lawrence Hi Simon - that's an invented local name for a persistent winter wind from a particular direction. Sourced from the imagination!
