Hello, Mark. I am looking forward to read your work but I have a question. I want to read "Prince of Thorns" and also "Prince of Fools" Do I need to keep both series chronological or are these two different stories? Thanks in advance

Mark Lawrence They are related and there is a slight benefit in reading Prince of Thorns / The Broken Empire first, but it you prefer more humour and less darkness then by all means jump to Prince of Fools, it was written to be read without the other.

Could you please, please write another funny fantasy book, a la mode 'the red queen' trilogy? It is my favourite. It is so difficult to find elsewhere the tone you set in the book- a serious fantastical world seen through the eyes of a comical, witty character. The vice-versa is more commonly found. What inspired the departure from your usual style to one with so much humour? Hope you and your loved ones are safe
