Katerina Kondrenko
Katerina Kondrenko asked Elise Kova:

Elisa, can you tell me the meaning of this title - Earth's End - please? It's more about Apocalypse or about the edge of earth? I wanna promote the title for Russian readers and not sure how to translate it correctly)

Elise Kova Oh my, hmm... Okay, first off, thank you so much for doing that!! That's SO COOL!

Now, this is a tricky one as my titles usually have multiple meanings drawn from within the book. Without putting out too many Fire Falling spoilers for any who haven't read the book yet... the word "Falling" in the title relates to "falling in love", "fallen" as being a another way to say someone who has died, and the literal meaning of to fall - to drop.

Earth's End is similar. The "End" is both referring to the edge of the earth, as Vhalla has now gone from one "end" to the other. It also represents conclusion and something final, something that has ended.

I wouldn't translate it as "Apocalypse", however...

Does this help? Languages are so tricky! If I didn't help leave a comment and I'll be happy to continue discussing (to the best of my abilities without giving spoilers).
