I wanted to say, that I have only read a few of the Sookie Stackhouse books, but i have found a deep lov for them. I also love the show, even though there are significant differences. My question for you is, Are you happy with what HBO has created?

Charlaine Harris Yes, since the show drew a lot of attention to the books, I was delighted with it. I knew the stories would diverge. What makes for a good book does not always make for good television.

First off: LOVE your books! I've read them all, multiple times. I usually listen to the Sookie books once a year. You've been very lucky in your audio book narrators; for me Johanna Parker IS Sookie, just as Therese Plummer IS Aurora and Alyssa Bresnahan IS Harper. Here is my question: How far in advance did you know who was Sookie's HEA? In what book is the first clue?
