J. asked Mark Greaney:

I recently finished "Back Blast" and enjoyed it immensely. One question: Why use the phrase "jacketed expanding ammunition" when jacketed hollow points would have made more sense? Please pardon any variation from the actual text, I am quoting from memory and my memory is 69 years old.

Mark Greaney The term I use is Expanding Full Metal Jacketed ammunition. It's FMJ that collapses and expands- not hollow point. Here is an example-

Very glad you enjoyed the galley of the book- it will me much more polished in its final form.
