Yes for sure- It made me more research oriented and the word count in my Gray Man books ticked up from 120k words before working with Tom to about 175k in my latest book! I have introduced more characters and intrigue, but this also has to do with my love of Clancy books- my first Gray Man book was about an even with a short 3-day timeline. Later books have been wider in scope so they got a bit bigger.
