Goodreads asked Lacey Summers:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lacey Summers Never wait too long once you have an idea. Whether you're a pantser or a plotter, get those ideas down on paper or screen, then worry about the editing later. This is a struggle for me, because I tend to be a perfectionist in that area, but really that first draft is for figuring out the story, uncovering the treasure, carving out the marble statue from the shapeless stone. Write what you want to write, not what the stats dictate. And may every story you write have hope and inspiration that will turn people's eyes toward the One Who gave you the gift of writing!
