Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Carlene O'Connor At first I was asked by my editor if I want to create a murder mystery series set in England. I immediately said that I would love to create one set in Ireland and the project was born from there. The town of Kilbane, County Cork, Ireland featured in the series is based on an actual town in County Limerick that I absolutely fell in love with.
