Just stumbled across your books and have read four in the last month! Love them. I was wondering, do you use outlines when writing? I'm trying to decide if I should try it.

Hi Katie. So glad you stumbled! Cheers!! I do use outlines, not because they come naturally to me but because my editor requires them. Since I've been doing them now for years, I see how helpful they can be, especially in murder mysteries. However, I do allow the book to veer from the outline, especially if something new pops up that makes for a better story. So my answer would be definitely try it but allow yourself flexibility as well.
