Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

J.A. Knighted Wow, it happened so long ago! Honestly, my husband had decided to re-watch the entire series of Lost and I had pulled out my computer in revolt. I wrote while my family watched the show. The characters had just come alive to me. The story took a huge jump forward after I found a print out of an old map, the Carta Marina. The sea creatures drawn on the map had opened up a huge amount of inspiration. Then the story just kept growing so fast, it was hard to keep up.
