Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Connie Reeder Nichols My Crazy Heart (a veiled reference to Sappho, yet another woman dismissed and denied her due) is a snapshot of a woman (me at 58) dealing with the death of her husband (32 yrs) and loss, loss, loss. Writing brought me back to some sanity. But I also needed a way, some sort of process to survive heart-killing anger at what I perceived as an extreme personal injustice to my husband and our family. Luckily, a goddess, the feminine divine, seeped into my thinking....
