What was the catalyst that caused you to choose Henery Press as your publisher?

I heard Kendel Lynn (the managing editor of Henery) speak at Left Coast Crime a few years ago. I really liked her positive energy, so I checked out the Henery books and thought they looked very professional. Then on the way back to the airport, I talked to Susan M. Boyer, who couldn't say enough good things about Henery. I feel very lucky to be with them - they're great book people, and just plain nice.
