I haven't read the book yet, and I intend to, but I wonder if any other readers have a slight problem with the author being male? It's a wonderful story of family (and Michigan!) This book really moved me. It has so many parallels to my life and that of my family. I want my Mom and my nieces to read it. I think I'll buy a few copies for Christmas presents.(less)
