I'm going to admit that I'm a bit obsessed with Asher Lee. When I read a book, I always imagine what these characters look like. I'm a very visual gal in that sense. If you had to put a face to Asher, be it a famous person or just a whoever, who would that person be? I guess I would ask the same question in regards to Savannah. What was your inspiration when you were writing these two wonderful characters?

As for whom I pictured for Asher...the fact is, I didn't. I was inspired by the character of Richard Harrow (from "Boardwalk Empire") and also by the story of real-life Army Specialist Joey Paulk. And I can see his body in my mind. Strong and cut. Muscular. Scarred. But his face still stumps me. I think it stumps me because even though his face is a huge part of the story, I identified more with his heart than his appearance.

And Savannah? Again, I didn't use actual people as inspirations for "The Vixen and the Vet" so I don't have anyone in mind when I think of her.

I'm so sorry I can't answer your question...but you are welcome to share with me whom you'd cast as Asher and Savannah!! I'd love to know!
