Hello, I'm not certain I have the correct Ruth, but here goes. Did you live in or near Renton, Washington for a time in 1974 or 1975? While there did you go to Highlands Community Church? Do you have a sister named Naomi? If so, I'm so glad to have found you. My name is Linda (Campbell) Vinson. I was there at the church at that time and I have always remembered your I am Green poem. Loved it then and now. Linda

Hi Linda! No, I didn't live in Renton, WA, or attend that church, nor is any of my sisters named Naomi. But I am indeed the author of I am green. It spread widely among MK & TCK networks after I created it as a class assignment in an anthropology class in 1973. Do you remember how you came across it? I'm always curious! Really glad it is meaningful to you. Did you grow up straddling two or more cultures?
