So is this book in the horror genre? I have been reading reviews and no one has really said, "Wow this story was scary".
▫️Ron S. King is almost exclusively "dark fantasy". Few of his novels rate as horror, IMHO. His horror short story hayday was back in the Skeleton Crew era.

That said - there are plenty of scares in store for characters in the stories (if not the reader, necessarily). (less)
