a) That's not a question. But I'll assume you mean to imply that "Ashmole 782" should actually be "Ashmore 782"...
b) Ashmole 782 is a lost manuscript donated to The Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford by Elias Ashmole in 1858. It was documented, filed in the library, and has since disappeared for reasons unknown. But it did actually exist; Elias Ashmole was a real person; and the Bodleian Library is a real place. The author simply made up a story as to what is inside the manuscript and how it came to be "missing"... everything else is fact.
