How would you say you incorporate diversity (racial, sexual orientation, disability etc.) in your novels?

I don't particularly set out to incorporate diversity. But I do write about the world I see around me, which includes people of color, disabled people, mental health issues, war, sexual orientation, gender ... all things that we live in our lives.
I do always try to put myself into the shoes of the characters I write about, whether they look like me or not. Sometimes I'm more successful at that than others, but I think it's essential to be empathetic if you're going to write compelling stories.

Hey Charles, I read a few pages of your work in Wattpad! (Not that I understand this application one bit?) Zoe and Will I think. I was wondering if this is going to be a future book? or just that a few pages? Eagerly Awaiting as I was intrigued to know what happens with Zoe and her sister. And of course who is Will?
